Does Council have development control plans?

Council has prepared a number of development control plans that set out in detail policies and codes relating to the development or subdivision of land in the Gloucester Shire area.

Some development control plans relate specifically to individual sites. Others address requirements for development in industrial zones, tourism facilities or rural land.  Copies of all development control plans are available for download from the Planning and Building Documents section of this website.

Council is required to review all development control plans and update these to comply with state regulations. You are advised to contact Council's Planning and Environment Department to ensure your development is not effected by these changes.
