The Department of Lands and Department of State and Regional Development have announced that nominations are now being received for the Regional Achievement and Community Awards.
These awards were developed to recognise groups and individuals who make a difference in regional communities.
There are six different awards categories that will be recognised:
o Business Enterprise Award
o Events And Tourism Award
o Regional Service Award
o Environment And Landcare Award
o Crown Reserve Trust Award
o Community Of The Year Award.
Gloucester Residents are encouraged to consider nominating an individual, organisation or the community for these awards, as they not only recognise local participation and initiative but also offer opportunities for advertising and promotion as part of the prize packages.
