Waste & Recycling

Gloucester Shire Council has a vision to improve planning and delivery of waste management services that are environmentally sustainable.

Council provides a weekly domestic waste collection and a fortnightly recycling service.

Council is a member of the Midwaste collaborative waste group comprising eight Council's on the Mid North Coast. Midwaste implements cooperative projects to improve planning and delivery of waste management services across the region.

Community Sharps Disposal - 01 Aug 2007

Needles and syringes (community sharps) are sometimes discarded unsafely and you may find this injecting equipment in your local community. If you do not feel comfortable picking up needles and syringes please call the Needle Clean Up Hotline on 1800 633 353 to arrange for collection.
