Access to Government (Council) Information
Council provides access to information and records under the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009. The Act makes provision for a wide range of information to be publically available.
The form [downloadable below] should be completed to apply for formal access to government information.
1. Application Fee
An Application Fee of $30 payable by cash, cheque or money order is payable on application.
(Note: please do NOT send cash by post)
2. Discount in processing charges
If you are given access to the information sought, you may be asked to pay a charge for processing the application ($30/hour). Some applicants may be entitled to a 50% reduction in their processing charges. If you wish to apply for a discount, you will need to indicate the reason on the form.
