Public Health
Council ensures compliance with relevant health standards and
legislation which helps to ensure that residents and visitors to the
area can enjoy a healthy and safe environment. Council conducts regular
inspections of of various premises and installations related to the
control of disease, legionella, skin penetration premises, barbers,
beauty salons, hairdressers, mortuaries. Inspections are also carried on
septic systems and public swimming pools and spas.
