The Stratford Industrial Park is a high quality, attractively designed industry park being developed near Gloucester which will focus upon the effective use of significant energy resources and road and rail transport infrastructure.
The Park offers extensive flat land adjacent to both regional roads and a modern rail link with natural environmental buffering provided by the topography of the land and its surrounds.
Located on the Bucketts Way, approximately a kilometre south of Stratford and 15 kilometres south of Gloucester; excellent road access is available to the regional markets of Taree, Tamworth & Armidale and the major markets of Newcastle and Sydney. The Park is well located on the Sydney-Brisbane rail line which passes the Park site and is accessible by an existing rail loop.
Stratford Industrial Park is being developed by Gloucester Coal Ltd, who have been operating in this region for well over 10 years.
Stratford Industrial Park occupies 135 hectares with energy resources that are powerful drivers for a range of potential industries, including:
- industries using carbon based materials;
- energy intensive industries such as aluminium extrusion;
- brick manufacture;
- bulk chemical manufacture;
- heavy and light engineering
- timber milling and processing
- rail maintenance and repair;
- intermodal freight and logistics.
